Staff and Soweto

We met with the Johannesburg staff today. The church has a beautiful facility! I taught a lesson called, "Building Through Families". We had a great open discussion.

Hannah and Maddy visited an orphanage and played with the kids while we were at the meeting.

We were then taken through a shanty town in Soweto. It is remarkable to see the rich and poor live so close together.

We then met with some of the staff for an African lunch.

I tried chicken feet. Nasty.

I do enjoy the steamed bread and lamb stew!

  2. They eat ALL parts of the chicken there. I had never eaten a chicken neck until I went to Africa.
