A Full Sunday

Sunday was a great and very full day for us in San Antonio.

We meet with teen leaders from around Texas at 8:30 AM to co-teach a class before church.

Service was at 10 AM. Before I started my sermon, I videoed the church. Here is a clip of the San Antonio church!

We had lunch with Herve and Janet Fleurant after church. They serve in the ministry here now but have been all over the world, including Haiti, Cairo, and many other places in Africa. They are amazing people!

Sunday evening we meet with the teen parents. I taught about bridging the generation gap with teenagers and we then had a great discussion. It is always encouraging to be with other teen parents, talking openly about our faith and desire to help our children.

After the devotional, we had dinner with the Taliaferros.

We got home and talked, summing up the weekend.

  1. Thinking about the Poctas on a 16-hour flight today. It's not easy to sit still that long, but SO worth it! Safe travels. Hope there's lots of good movies on the flight!

  3. Dave & Beth,

So excited for you and your kids to be able to have this experience. You always have a way of mulitplying whatever you do, internalizing it and enriching our lives when you come back home. We miss you already! We have been praying for your family to be safe and to see God's power and faithfulness in a clear and evident way.
    Love, The Montes Family
