The place we are staying is almost tropical. Tons a beautiful green plant life. Little creatures, including a gecko on the window last night (which freaked Beth out).
Duncan, the lead evangelist here, and I went for a early morning workout. We then went to the Indian Ocean and walked around and talked about the church here and the churches in Zimbabwe. I bought a really cool bracelet made from the tail hair of an elephant. I love it!
I know that it is Thanksgiving in America. We are sitting by a pool right now in 85 degree weather. I will miss the turkey and cranberry sauce but I am certainly not struggling. I believe we are eating curry tonight. Sweet.
This evening all of the parents are coming from the church and we are teaching a devotional for them. Tomorrow morning we leave for Johannesburg. Tomorrow night we leave for Chicago.
What an amazing couple of weeks.
I am looking forward to sharing photos, video, and stories of the disciples across Texas and South Africa.
Please pray for our journey home. The flight from Johannesburg to Atlanta is 16 straight hours. It is a tad bit long.
As they say in South Africa,
Cheers!
As much as I miss the 4 of you on turkey day, what a blessing for you to be having such great experiences! Beth - I watched some of the parade for you! Love you - safe journey.

My wife was a member of the Durban church for two years. She always tells me how beautiful it was there.
